About Us

Quality Equipment was formed in 1992 when Rene's Implement of Kaplan purchased Rice City Tractor of Crowley. In March 1998, a third location was added with the purchase of Abel and Son in Welsh, Louisiana, and a fourth location in Lafayette, Louisiana, in the fall of 2004 when Melancon's Implement was acquired. Quality Equipment serves the entire southwest part of the state of Louisiana and employs 65. Quality Equipment is owned by Raymond Hensgens of Crowley and M. B. "Joe" Darby of Arnuadville.
